Prólogo
En un mundo donde el conocimiento cada día es más importante, contar con una
publicación que aporte a nuestros profesionales información de los avances científicos y
que a su vez permita la divulgación de los logros institucionales a la comunidad científica-
técnica local e internacional, es de relevante importancia.
Al presente la Revista Salud Militar esta Indexada en el directorio y en el catálogo de
publicaciones periódicas Latindex y en la Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Científicas
Electrónicas Españolas y Lationo-americanas e-revist@s. A partir de este semestre
también estará indexada en el Índice Mexicano de Revistas Biomédicas Latinoamericanas
(IMBIOMED). Aunado a ello, nos es grato comunicar que, a partir del presente año
nuestra publicación pasará a una periodicidad semestral. Lo antes dicho prestigia
nuestra Institución y la posiciona ventajosamente de cara al futuro, para afrontar los
nuevos desafíos a cumplir.
La Dirección Nacional de Sanidad de las Fuerzas Armadas felicita a quienes hacen posible
que nuestra revista siga este camino ascendente y se compromete a trabajar para cumplir
con los objetivos de la publicación: promover la investigación, la actualización y la
divulgación del conocimiento científico en las distintas áreas del conocimiento en la salud.

In a world where knowledge is increasingly important, it is of outmost significance to have a
publication that provides our professionals with information about scientific advances and,
at the same time, allows for institutional achievements to reach the national and
international scientific and technical community.
Currently, the Revista Salud Militar is indexed in the Latindex Directory and Catalogue of
periodic publications and the Open Access Platform for Spanish and Latin American
Scientific Electronic Journals, e-revist@s. From this semester, it shall also be indexed in
the Mexican Index for Latin American Biomedical Journals (IMBIOMED). In addition, we
are very pleased to announce that, from this year, our publication shall have a bi-annual
frequency. All the above adds to our Institution's prestige and grants a leading position
towards the future, in order to face new challenges ahead.
The Armed Forces National Health Direction congratulates those who make it possible for
our journal to maintain this ascending path and shall work in order to fulfill the objectives of
this publication: to promote investigation, report and update scientific information on the
different areas of our knowledge on health.
