Policies for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The journal Salud Militar makes available to authors, reviewers and editorial team the policies to regulate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the process of drafting, reviewing and editing articles submitted for consideration in the journal.

Some examples of how to declare the use of AI tools as appropriate: images, graphics, compilation of bibliographic and other sources, and the suggested wording of the text.

No use of AI: We, the authors, declare that no AI was used for the conceptualization or writing of this article.

Drafting: We, the authors declare that we used an artificial intelligence tool [NAME OF TOOL OR WEBSITE] to assist us in the drafting of this article. This tool helped us to improve the structure and clarity of the text. The AI-generated content was thoroughly reviewed by us to ensure accuracy and consistency with the objective of the study.

Data analysis: In this study, we employed a machine learning algorithm [NAME OF TOOL OR WEBSITE] to analyze the data collected. This tool allowed us to identify patterns and trends that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. We made sure to validate the results obtained with other analysis methods to avoid bias.
