Halitosis or bad breath is an oral health problem that affects a large part of the population, mainly in terms of relationships with other people.
In the case of children and adolescents this pathology is more frequent than the population believes and that is why this work has the purpose of making more aspects of the subject known in order to be able to carry out an integral management of it in the pediatric dentistry specialty.
This work shows the close relationship between microbial plaque and lack of hygiene with the presence of halitosis in children and adolescents.
