Abstract

Medical Sciences, in its broadest sense, have been undergoing, in the last decades, deep transformations caused by several factors, such as the rapid generation of new knowledge and in ever increasing volumes, the technological race with better and more sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, the globalization of information through computer networks, etc. Therefore, the need for professionals working in the health area to update their knowledge is increasingly important and requires more time and dedication.
