Analysis and articulation from Psychosomatics of skin allergy from the Clinic.
The objective was to understand what was happening to a 10 year old boy who presents skin allergy.
To understand the organic disorder based on psychoanalytic theory and psychosomatic articulation.
To show how the body expresses a language to be understood. We talk about specific organ and/or function fantasies and the affects involved. Such understanding presents a view that considers the indivisible individual, his body and his mind as two sides of the same coin. Showing how the child expresses a conflict, in the way he/she can, in this case in an allergic way.
From this understanding, we are extending the psychoanalytic listening in the attention of that person. To look at the same phenomenon from another window, to intervene from that place, and to favor a process of change.
Finally, a therapeutic strategy is proposed for this case.
