Abstract

Biological weapons are non-conventional weapons characterized by the use of pathogenic microorganisms capable of producing an infectious disease in the recipients. The microorganisms used can be varied, as are the agents of existing and/or eradicated infectious diseases. They are viruses, bacteria, ritckettsiae, fungi, protozoa, toxins of infectious agents (botulism toxins, staphylococcus enterotoxin).
