Abstract

The association of multiple myeloma (MM) with a solid tumor is an infrequent situation that generates diagnostic difficulties, reciprocal interferences in the treatment of both neoplasms and aggravates the prognosis. The evolution of one of these neoplasms can mask the clinical manifestations of the second. Three clinical cases of this association are presented, which occurred in our series of 31 multiple myelomas (10 %).
