In order to apply the Administrative Process in the Health Service of a Military Unit, identify problems, and address one of them, a Situation Diagnosis of the same was carried out by means of Systems Theory. The problem was identified as the lack of definition of the Role of the Nursing Licentiate. Through descriptive research, data were collected and processed. After analyzing the data, it was concluded that there are a number of situations that reduce the time commitment and quality of care provided to users. Finally, a proposal was made to define the role of the Bachelor of Nursing, describing the functions that she would develop in the Service.
