He was one of the most complete and restless surgeons in his training. From a very young age, in addition to surgery, which was his passion, he ventured into the study of Pathological Anatomy, being in this aspect a reference for his colleagues. A student of Professor Abel CHIFFLET, member of a generation of brilliant surgeons, he enthusiastically embraced Colorectal Surgery, becoming one of the first experts in that branch of surgery.
A vocational teacher, in the School of Medicine, he reached through competition all the positions of the teaching career until he reached the highest grade to which a Surgeon can aspire: Professor of Surgical Clinic. He exercised this position with great distinction and dignity.
