Abstract

The objective of this work is to report an experience of a Level I Assistance in a Mission Area.
The most frequent medical-dental pathologies.
To emphasize the importance of Acute Pathology taking into account the characteristics of the population assisted.
To emphasize the importance of prophylactic measures and continuous education in this area.
To highlight the importance of depression within medical pathologies and its psycho-emotional impact on the population as well as the medical difficulties in its management.
To emphasize the importance of team work within the Medical Unit, highlighting that the assistance activity is one of the three basic pillars, which are completed with the tasks of the Commissary and Statistics in equal importance.
