Subject of study by the social sciences, primitive medical practices have not been dealt with in the national medical literature but by exception. However, no one is unaware that the art of curing the "pre-scientific stage" subsists among us and is practiced or used at different levels and for different purposes: in popular medicine, in alternative therapies, it even persists in medical language. The extension of the subject obliges to separate it in two deliveries.
