The cerebrovascular accident or stroke represents the third cause of mortality in Uruguay and the world, as well as the first cause of disability.
Its treatment with acupuncture is very effective especially if started early and mainly in those of ischemic nature.
We report the case of a patient with a cardiovascular history who suffered an ischemic stroke, who was treated with craniopuncture, with a very successful response.
