Nursing risk factors.Abstract
The following work was carried out by a group of Nursing Graduates of the H.C.FF.AA. and teachers of the Administration Department of the INDE. The main motivation that focused our attention on this topic was to learn about the risk factors in the workplace that affect the health of nurses working in Medical Services. Analyzing theoretical material and research on the subject, it is agreed that the characteristics of the user who is attended in these services have a great weight, among some of them: Aged, Chronic pathology, Frequent readmissions, Prolonged stay, High level of nursing dependency, Terminal stages. We agree that the conformation of the link with these users to determine the nursing care interrelated with the organizational characteristics of the services and the personal structure of the nursing staff determine how many factors interact to favor or determine the individual and collective health of the staff.
